Summary

 

The Midland TCS Warehouse Stock Clerk is responsible for understanding and executing all procedures and completing all transactions within SAP for stock and receiving in the M10 Warehouse and IPark operations. This includes receiving incoming goods, handling stock item disposition, fulfilling daily customer orders, completing reservations and production orders. The Stock Clerk must be familiar with and understand stock SOPs. They will ensure accurate inventory management in the M10 Warehouse and assist in resolving discrepancies. Additionally, the Stock Clerk will support the Midland TCS Warehouse Operations Specialist in conducting cycle counts, making stock adjustments, and understanding refurbish-able materials and valuation types. This role requires excellent computer skills and the ability to navigate SAP on a daily basis. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also required, along with attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.

 

Essential Functions

 

  • The Stock Clerk is responsible for understanding and executing all stock procedures and transactions within SAP and Excel spreadsheets. This includes tasks such as goods issue, goods receipt, withdrawals, completing reservations, and work orders. It is crucial for this individual to possess excellent knowledge of SAP for stock transactions.
  • Additionally, the Stock Clerk is accountable for comprehending and adhering to all stock SOPs and procedures. They will assist the Warehouse Operations Specialist with any necessary updates or changes.
  • One of the key responsibilities of this position is to ensure stock accuracy. The Stock Clerk will monitor daily transactions and maintain accurate record-keeping. They will utilize problem-solving skills and attention to detail to follow up on any discrepancies and work with the Warehouse Operations Specialist to resolve issues. The ultimate goal is to prevent similar issues in the future while maintaining accuracy targets.
  • Moreover, the Stock Clerk will assist the Warehouse Operations Specialist with the cycle count process to ensure the accuracy of MROS items. They will need to provide precise documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls during audits.
  • This position also plays a crucial role in assisting the Warehouse Operations Specialist with inventory management. This involves reviewing material movements, inventory turns, and stock usage reports to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • The Stock Clerk is accountable for adhering to proper procedures for handling critical items.
  • The Stock Clerk is responsible for conducting Positive Material Identification (PMI) on specific metal and alloy materials, as well as recording the PMI readings. It is essential for the Stock Clerk to be PMI certified.

 

Additional Responsibilities

 

  • The Stock Clerk is responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance with forklift training standards to maintain an active forklift certification within the HSC University's training system.
  • This role requires knowledge of the location, storage, and proper labeling of materials.
  • The Stock Clerk is expected to provide excellent customer service and support operations, maintenance, and contractors daily at the stock counter, working collaboratively to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery.
  • The Stock Clerk is tasked with maintaining the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the M10 Warehouse and kitchen area. This encompasses sweeping, appropriate trash disposal, recycling cardboard, snow removal, salting walkways, power washing, and cleaning tables and stock counters, along with managing mail.
  • This position is accountable for replenishing supplies in the kitchen and warehouse to maintain optimal levels at all times. This individual will notify the Warehouse Operations Specialist regarding any necessary orders.
  • The Stock Clerk will perform weekly vehicle inspections.
  • The Stock Clerk will receive and unload incoming trucks and trailers, operate the overhead doors, and utilize the dock leveler.
  • This role includes answering calls from the M10 stock phone and address material requests accordingly.
  • The Stock Clerk will carefully organize all documents by vendor and delivery date, including the electronic filing of building reports and SAP uploading of inspection reports from Dow.
  •  This position is responsible for the movement of materials between the IPark and HSC facilities that are owned, leased, or managed.

 

Education Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

 

 

Work Experience

 

  • 1-2 years of prior plant experience is preferred
