Summary
The Solar Supply Chain & Data Co-op supports the Solar Business Unit – Commercial team by helping organize shipment data and assist with pricing activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to the solar industry, supply chain compliance, and data management while supporting accurate documentation for traceability and pricing for polysilicon customers.
Essential Functions
- Organize, file, and maintain documentation related to incoming silicon metal shipments.
- Transfer supplier and shipment data into internal tracking tools and designated SharePoint folders.
- Ensure documentation is clearly labeled, properly filed, and easy to retrieve to support supply chain traceability.
- Assist the Commercial team with pricing-related activities, including updating pricing spreadsheets and trackers.
- Perform basic data checks to help verify the completeness and accuracy of shipment and pricing information.
- Support traceability efforts by helping align shipment documentation with internal records.
- Communicate with team members to help clarify missing or incomplete documentation.
- Follow established processes and guidelines for data handling and documentation management.
- Assist with additional data organization or administrative tasks as assigned by the Commercial team
Skills
- Comfortable using a computer and basic programs like Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Willing to learn new tools, including SharePoint and simple tracking systems
- Able to enter information into spreadsheets carefully and accurately § Organized and pays attention to details
- Willing to learn how to organize and manage digital files
Required Work Experience
- Must be currently enrolled as a high school junior with a graduation date of May 2027.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 or higher.
- Must live within commuting distance to Hemlock Semiconductor - Hemlock, MI or Midland, MI Locations.
- Must upload most current transcript.
Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, variable bonus, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
