High level summary of job

The role of the IT/OT Shift Technician is responsible for supporting the maintenance of IT operational services after business hours and are the single point of contact for all IT related issues. This includes but not limited to core IT/OT operational tasks (service desk, workstation, printer, VOIP and HSC mobile devices, A/V support and repair, Digital Signage support and repair), and application installation and configuration.  Focus of this role is Incident management resolution and daily maintenance tasks. They also are responsible for IT project execution.

Essential functions of the job

  • Provides IT/OT Operational Support executing ITIL Processes within ServiceNow
  • Provides workstation, printer, mobile device maintenance - examples include:
    • Workstation deployment and support
    • Asset recovery and disposal
    • Printer maintenance
    • Mobile device maintenance and support
    • Weekly MES workstation maintenance
  • Provides office phone maintenance and support
  • Provides conference room / AV / Extron support
  • Provides support for handheld PC devices
  • Provides workstation application installation, configuration, and testing
  • Provides off hour Service Desk support
  • Participates on portfolio projects to deliver specific tasks to support project leads
  • Delivers against defined operational SLAs
  • Creating and maintaining Knowledge Articles

Additional Duties/Responsibilities

  • Setup and support of large events, i.e.: Townhalls, Employee Orientation, Training Sessions

Education Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field experience

Work Experience

  • 1+ years of IT experience. 
  • Experience with IT/OT Technology
