Summary

This position has project controls responsibility for expansion-related projects at Hemlock Semiconductor.  Project sizes are large, >$100MM.  Works as part of the HSC project team, interfaces with external partners, reports to the capital program manager, is accountable to the HSC PMO.

Essential Functions

• Project controls for estimate, budget, cost, and schedule.
• Engagement with all project managers, procurement, and construction management.
• Manages the interface and coordinates the division of project controls activities with external engineering-procurement service providers and general construction contractors.

Skills

• Working know-how of project controls for large capital project execution.
• Experienced understanding of:
  • WBS
  • Estimates
  • Multiple budget development and management
  • Cost management and forecasting
  • Master schedule management
• Very, very strong MS Excel and SAP skills.
• Strong organization and written/oral communication, while working with internal and external project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience of working in complex teams of project managers, procurement and construction management.
• Maturity and ability to maintain positive attitude during difficult situations and times of ambiguity.
• Proficiency with business computer applications (SAP, MS Office Suite).

Education Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Engineering

Work Experience

• Minimum of 15 years of project controls experience
• Minimum budget experiences $50MM TIC
