Summary
Provides administrative office support to the Environmental, Health, Safety and Security team. This includes performing routine tasks and documentation updates. This position receives tactical direction from the EHS Manager and Occupational Health and Safety SME’s.
Essential Functions
- Assist with making licenses for all the fork trucks, scissor lifts, and JLG (weekly)
- Deliver licenses once they are made (weekly)
- Manage safety meeting attendance sheet tracking (weekly)
- Manage forms ready for weekly training (weekly)
- Help trainers book space to deliver training (weekly)
- BBS and Re-CAP data pulls (weekly)
- Assist in PHA preparation: create folders/print as needed of Piping and Instrument (P&ID) Drawings
Potential Tasks:
- Update Safety training slide decks with assistance from OSH SMEs and Techs
- Develop short videos for training and/or safety messaging
- Track critical IH equipment calibrations (send out and pick up) (quarterly)
- Administrative help with locks used for Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO); sticker application to locks; tracking
- Help audit shoe mobile inventory, tracking and billing
- Occasional coverage of front lobby / site access
Potential Projects:
- Development of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) grids
- Attend critical EHS training (to explore as a possible career path)
- Inventory audits
Required Work Experience
- Must be currently enrolled as a high school junior with a graduation date of May 2027.
- Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.70 or higher.
- Must live within commuting distance to Hemlock Semiconductor - Hemlock, MI or Midland, MI Locations.
- Must upload most current transcript.
- The candidate must be within driving distance to the site and have reliable transportation
Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, variable bonus, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
