Join our team as a Cleanroom Operator and be a vital part of our manufacturing process. Starting at $21.14/hr, in this role, you will execute daily production tasks under the guidance of Room Leader/Team Leader/Production Coordinator, ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality products. Your responsibilities will encompass various tasks, such as Cleanroom Breaking, Processing, and more, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Knowledge Plans (SKP), and approved job plans.
Essential Functions:
- Manually break down polysilicon by using a specialized hammer, package them, and label the packaging to meet customer specifications.
- Rotate between tasks, including sealing and reworking polysilicon, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a disciplined approach, following instructional documentation such as Standard Work Instructions (SWI’s) and job plans/procedures.
- Recognize, react to, and escalate abnormal situations to area leadership.
- Stand for extended periods, perform stretching, reaching, and bending activities.
- Ensure departmental performance in Safety & Environment, Quality, Reliability, Production, and Productivity.
- Will have to follow cleanroom policies and wear appropriate outerwear for cleanroom environment. This includes but is not limited to goggles, hearing protection, face mask, one piece suit, and layered gloves.
- All quality and safety gear are provided by HSC.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide feedback for instructional documentation improvement, modification and completeness to Operational Excellence and Training teams.
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement programs, contributing ideas to enhance technology and process operations.
- Stay current with training through the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Competent knowledge of HSC manufacturing operations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of HSC processes, standards, and practices.
Training Schedule:
- First two weeks of training: 40 hours, day shift (Monday-Friday).
- Transition to a 12-hour per shift 2-3-2 schedule with a rotating shift, alternating between days and nights every two weeks(6am-6pm/6pm-6am), including every other weekend.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum height requirement: 58”.
- Minimum Age: 18 years old.

Summary
Cleanroom Operator is responsible to execute daily production directed by the Room Leader/Production Coordinator with guidance by SWIs in a disciplined manner to safely and efficiently manufacture a quality product.
Follow all SOP, SKP, Job Plans or any other temporary or permanent approved procedures in adherence to all Site Safety Standards.
Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
• S-30 Cleanroom Breaking
• S-130 Cleanroom Breaking
• S-430 Cleanroom Breaking
This role is accountable for being aware of department performance including Safety & Environment, Quality, Reliability, Production, and Productivity
Essential Functions
- Breaking, packaging, and labeling of polysilicon using hand tools to meet customer specifications.
- Cleanroom operator will also rotate between various jobs such as sealing and rework of polysilicon while following all safety and quality standards.
- This job requires a disciplined approach using various forms of instructional documentation, such as Standard Work Instruction (SWI’s) and temporary or permanent Job plans/procedures.
- Recognize, react to, and escalate Abnormal Situations to Table Leader/Room Leader/ECO/Shift Leader/Finishing Shift Coordinator.
- Responsible for operation of assets in a disciplined manner adhering to all regulatory and site management systems
- Provide feedback to Operational Excellence and Training team for instructional documentation improvement, modification, and completeness.
- Participate in Continuous improvement program by generating and communicating ideas to improve the technology and process operations for higher quality, lower cost, safer and more reliable operation.
- Keep current with training in LMS
