High level summary of job
The PMO Administrative College Co-op is responsible for assisting large capital expansion projects and supporting teams with various administrative tasks. The position has the potential to expose the student to multiple areas of our organization including Manufacturing and Process Engineering on a regular or as-needed basis.
Essential functions of the job
- Assist in supporting various organizations with ad-hoc project support.
- Sort and deliver mail/packages on daily basis.
- Managing service centers; including keeping the centers organized and tidy, stocking and ordering office supplies including coffee, utensils as needed or requested.
- Daily/Weekly check of conference rooms; organize, tidy and stock as needed.
- Managing work time; taking the initiative to proactively stay busy while prioritizing projects and activities based on current workload.
- Administer accesses and review functionality & metrics of team SharePoint(s).
- Coordination and/or assisting with specific onsite and offsite events.
- Backup coverage for time critical tasks.
Additional Duties/Responsibilities
- Focus on safety and other training required or necessary.
- Practice good housekeeping - maintain a clean & orderly word area.
- Job is accountable for performing all assigned duties in an effective and professional manner.
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner.
- Oral and written communications skills, and the ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels within the company.
- Teamwork skills, flexibility, motivation, and initiative are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. SharePoint experience a plus.
Education Requirements.
- Candidate must be attending a local 2-year college or 4-year university and pursing a degree in a similar field of study.
- Minimum cumulative 2.7 GPA on 4.0 scale.
- Must be full-time student (12 or more credits) during fall and winter semesters.
- Candidate must be able to work 20-28 hours per week during fall and winter semesters and up to 40 hours per week in the summer.
- Candidate must be within driving distance to the site and have reliable transportation.
Work Experience
Work environment is primarily in an office setting. Mobility to various work/manufacturing areas is required.
Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position are dependent on hours worked and may include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, variable bonus, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, and PTO.
